ok let me describe the symptoms the best i can:

1.) car drops in idle when stopping almost stalling sometimes, doesn't happen for a while and then happens again.

2.) car feels like its missing at light throttle cruising at any speed light throttle, car just feels like the wheels are unbalanced although they are.

3.) car bogs at WOT and sometimes while driving a get a strong fuel odor from under the hood....

oh yeah and im getting 10mpg right now, i cant let this car stay like this, please help! what do i need to replace?

 

My car did the almost stalling on hard brake and sharp cornering and i was running very lean.


Not sure about the fuel smell though.

 

Also sounds similar to the problem I have recently. Mine was cleared up by adjusting the timing. Just a suggestion.

 

Carb or fuel injected?

If carb, rebuild carb, replace check or test cap/rotor/sparkplugs(gap them properly) /sparkplug wires

 

its fuel injected....would a bad o2 sensor cause this, i changed it last year but may be time for a new one
