Help Please!!!
Can anyone give me a link to a set of detailed instructions (possibly with pictures) on the process of eliminating the A/C system and the AIR system. I have a haynes manual but there is not very much detail in it. I am really just trying to find out what all i can eliminate from both systems, and have my car still run right. For example, what do i do with electrical connections from both systems? How do i reroute the heater hoses? Can i get rid of the little canister by the drivers side headlight? Do I have to leave the EGR? I havent gotten much help on this topic, im relying on you guys. PLEASE HELP!!!

It depends how far you want to go with it.
The can behind the drivers side headlight is the EEC (evaporative emissions canister) It takes the ventline from the gas tank and routes it to various vacume lines so the fumes are burnt and whatnot. I have removed the EEC in my car along with the cruise and it really cleans up that part of the engine bay.
As for removing EGR and AIR im not too sure how it would work if you want to keep your stock intake and such.
My car no longer has any emissions legal parts or anything close to a computer in it
For the A/C system, technically you "should" get an authorized shop to discharge it then you can pullit all out. I would reccomend finding a system out of a non A/C car to replace yours as they are alot smaller.

what heater hoses? i dont remember re-routing any when i ditched my AIR or AC.
the electrical plugs u can just leave there disconnected.
the AIR pump can go but i believe u'll need a different sized belt. AC compressor must stay or u can get AC delete pulley to replace it.
AC and AIR lines can go. AC condenser in front of the radiator can go. the tubing on the manifolds can be capped.
if u still wanna blow warm air inside the car when its cold then u'll need to keep the big AC evaporator housing or get the smaller non AC box. the AC blower motor wont work with the non AC box.
thats all i can think off. HTH
