Oil Pressure changing, whats wrong?

On my LS1, oil pressure changes in hugh intervals. When I am idling it is at 38, when i am driving under 2000 rpms i am at about 45, and when i floor it goes anywhere from 60-80. is this normal? I dont think the gauge is bad. also i was in mcdonalds drive through and it red lined at about 10 for a couple seconds and then came back to the normal.

Sounds normal to me. Just as long as it has pressure.
