aftermarket temp gauge plugs in where?

where do i plug the after market temp gauge end into on my 89 rs 305 tbi? i know it cant go inot the coolant temp sending unit place on top of the engine , so is thetre another place the thing can screw into?

If you can remove the factory temp sender the gauge kit should have come with adapters for you to install it there. If not just find another plug, sometimes there's one on the back of the intake and usually one on the sides of the block. The plugs that are factory are larger (obviously). I don't mean any offense it would just suck to pull a plug out of an oil galley. I think some heads have a plug in them as well.
