Walbro Fuel pump??????????

Its looking more like I need a new fuel pump. I have looked in the archives and it looks like the walbro 255 is the one to get. Which one though? The regular one or the hi flow one??? Its a daily driver which may get supercharged in the next few years along with many other mods and I dont know if the hi flow would be needed for this or if the regular would be good enough. Do these things last long????????
Where is the best, cheapest place to buy??????????? I may need it fast, w/in days.

Would you try to install it yourself if you were me?? I have never removed anything from the rear or anything major from my car? Or should I leave it to a mechanic????

Go here: http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ and order from him, he's got the best prices, and excellent service. I got the high flow 255l/hr and have had no problems with it for over a year now. (Excess fuel is just returned to the tank) I installed it with a buddy over an afternoon in the garage, no real hangups. However if you've never done anything major to your car and it's your daily driver, I don't think I'd start now. Just realize you are going to pay some coin to have someone do it for you.

When I ordered mine, they had the regular pressure and the high pressure pumps both 255 lph. Just the the high pressure pump could maintain the flow at 80+ psi. Unless you are jacking your fuel pressure way up to compensate for too small of an injector the regular pump will be fine.

I ordered from www.autoperformanceengineering.com . I went ahead an ordered the high pressure one yesterday. I know I won't need it but it was only a few $'s more and you never know I may need it in the future for some reason. thanks
