another 3.4 question
Before anybody asks, Yes i have searched for about 30 mins (give or take a few mins)and there really wasnt anything usefull that i found, My question is, Can i make the 93-94(95?) 3.4l v6 blocks work with the carbs? if i understand the 3.4l's correctly they were all DISless blocks? is there a plate or something covering up where a Distrubuter could/would go?

you can make them work with a carb. I swapped one form a 96 camaro in place of the blown 2.8 in my jeep using the jeeps original carb, manifold and distributor. The distributor hole is blocked by plug that is basically the bottom halve of a distibutor. It's kind of hard to get out because you don't have much to grab on to but I used a big pair of channel locks and it came right out. There is also a cam sensor in the front of the block but I just left it in. Also the 3.4 has no provision for a mechanical fuel pump but I used a universal external pump for a carb.
