Can't find my temperature sender, please help..

Can't find my temperature sender, please help..

My guage stopped reading my engine temperature and I can't find my temp sender. Its not in the head or on the intake (the two most common spot I think).. I have a 84 305 L69. Where are some other possible spot for it to be.. ??

Have you checked on the driver's side head between the 1st and 3rd plugs? I think all thirdgens have them located there. Should have one dark green wire coming off it.

I've checked and the hole is there, it plugged though.. the sensor is there somewhere because it just stopped working the other day.. any other know spots it could be??
