As long as the key is on, they'll run constantly if the grounds are pemanently connected to ground. Check your fan temp switch connector and try unplugging it. It should be located in the passenger side head between cylinders 6 and 8. My switch was broken and defaulted to an always-on condition. I ended up eliminating the switch myself. I still have the wire around somewhere in case I decide to put a manual fan switch in, but as it is now, I don't have it. I run both fans off of the ECM.

I was assuming that the fuse was in working condition, if there is one. I don't remember, I haven't worked on my car in a while since I've been away at school

I know theres a C/H Fan Fuse I believe, but that's for the blower motor.

THANKS FOR YOUR REPILIES ABOUT THE FANS. I WAS CONCERNED BECAUSE I JUST PURCHASED A NEW 305 TPI FOR MY IROC. THE 350 WAS ON ITS LAST LEG. ALSO, IT DIDN'T RUN ALL THAT GOOD BECAUSE I WAS USING THE 305 SETUP. (COMPUTER, INJECTORS)
WELL, I WAS TRYING TO STAY WITH THE 305 TPI BECAUSE I'LL MAINLY DRIVE TO AND FROM WORK IN THIS AUTO. WELL, WHEN I WENT TO PICK UP MY GAL, BEING MY IROC, HER FANS WERE RUNNING CONSTANTLY AND ALSO, MY FUEL GAGE AND OIL PRESSURE GAUGE WERE NOT WORKING. SO, I JUST WANTED SOME AMMO JUST IN CASE THE REPAIR SHOP STARTED SHOOTING OFF HIS MOUTH ABOUT IT BEING THIS AND I CAN SHOOT BACK AND SAY IT PROBABLY THAT. YA' FEEL ME. BY THE WAY, THIS PROJECT PUT ME BACK 3 BIG ONES AND I ALMOST COUGHED UP 2 LITTLE ONES . SOME BODY HIT ME BACK! ( E MAIL)
