I have a little clearance problem. I'd like to keep my stock hood, however, have to use a small air cleaner.... I'd like to set up a cold air/ram air intake too.

Has anybody ever used the Holley Hi-Tek Air Cleaner before? It looks like it may be so oddly shaped that it may actually be counter-productive.

I was thinking of running two hoses, one to each side of the air cleaner.

Any thoughts?

I don't know my man, if I were you I would look at just getting a dual snorkel air cleaner. It
ll be slightly more restrictive but you can get some colder air off of it.

That's the nuts and bolts of the issue. I don't have much hood clearance. A dual snorkel or open element filter has to be 2 1/2 inches or less to fit under the hood. I thought it was a 3 inch filter, but I just went out and measured.

So I am heavily restricted because of clearance.

Anybody know how these flow?
