hey i was driving today and we got into a **** load of traffic, and my engine jsut stalled out, the check engine light came on too. i was able to start up the car again, but a few miniuts later it did it again. i stopped and opened the hood, nothing looked worong. i think it might have been that my alternator belt was to tight, so i loosened it up. are there ne other suggestions as to what might be casueing this?

 

The alternator belt should be totally tight for proper charging. I would check to make sure you TC lockup is working properly. Also try replacing the fuel filter.

what trouble code is your ecm telling you?
