power loss

quick little question here, i'v noticed the last few days that my torque when i accelerate has lost alot of punch, like my ability to spin the tires and such. could my timing of been thrown off some how?, or is that something that slowly gets messed up? also i changed my spark plugs about a month ago, and my carburator runs really rich, could it maybe be that my plugs got really covered and not firing properly?
any advice on this would be great
thanks

Welcome aboard,
How does your car run other than lack of power. Any missing or shuttering. I had a severe loss of power after I had a plug wire lay on a header and crack thru. Happened 3 times until I bought some looms. Try replacing your fuel filter.
