hot air source from headers, is it possible?

hot air source from headers, is it possible?

hello guys.
winter is comming fast and i,ve installed headers on my 87, 350, 4bbl rochester, camaro (yes its a mod, from 2.8 crap to 350 carbureted)and i wanna know if somebody knows of anything i can do to get a hot air source for the carb heat, is there any aftermarket adaptor or something?

Yes I've seen them, but I don't know where to get them. It works just like the stock hot air intake except it hooks onto the headers. You could probably make something.

350 with stealth intake, holley carb, 470 lift cam. 700r4 with .5 boost valve, vette servo, tci lock-up kit, B&M megashifter. Richmond 3.73 gears, powertrax locker, timkin bearings, synthetic lube. Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, currant red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...

autozone has some sort of factory air intakes for carbed cars, with heat riser tubes, i don't know how well they will work, might wanna check it out, they are usualy on top of the shelves near the air filters.

The stainless edelbrock headers on my truck came with a stove pipe adaptor. There's no reason why you couldn't fabricate something similar.
