Pistons
Pistons
Hello,
I am rebuilding my engine again and would like some suggestions on what pistons to get or if I should kept the stock ones. I do have a budget, so nothing too expensive.
Its a supercharged 305 TPI. Also any suggestions for a manifold?

I don't know what to tell you about intakes. However, on a budget I would look at a set of flat top hypereutectic pistons. They're in between stock and forged. A great piston for an engine on a budget.

"The reason most import drivers only focus on looking fast is so they can sit there staring at their car and dream about it being fast, because there's no way for them to match American muscle."

for supercharged aplications make sure you get pistons that will keep the compression reasonably low, shouldn't be more than 9:1 in my opinion

For supercharged or NOX applications, forged are really the way to go. The hypereutectic are cast using a different alloy than what is used for what is normally called "cast" pistons, but are actually not as good for power adders as stock cast.
Forged are by far the best for your application. Cost should not be the basis for your decision.
