Stock fuel pump not enough?

I finally put together my 413ci TPI and took it to the track. The car pulls really hard in 1st and 2nd then doesnt have much in 3rd and 4th. And the more you rev it the less it pulls. (starts dieing at 4K) With a slipping clutch when I power shift and a 1.79 60' time I ran a 13.1 1/4mile at 104mph. My question is, does this sound like the STOCK fuel pump not being able to keep up with this high displacement engine or is the TPI that limiting. I'll drive the car with a fuel pressure gauge taped to the windshield in a couple of days to see if it drops pressure but how much should the pressure drop under WOT?
Engine specs: 413ci 9.75:1 compression, Dart 210cc heads, 213/224@.050 cam, 30# Ford injectors, big mouth base, large tube runners, 58mm TB, SLP Headers, 3" exaust, no cat, and a Custom chip.

It should not drop. If you have 43 pounds of pressure at idle you should have the same at 5500 rpm. Now its also posible your fuel tables are not set up correctly or a combination of both.

Sounds about right for a TPI gobs of bottom end but are useless for high RPM power. but with your mods it shouldnt be too bad.

Double check your fuel pressure at WOT, maybe your loosing psi.

Thank you 1989GTATransAm. I'm waiting for my friend to get home with his fuel pressure tester. I took the car for a ride and used my scanner. It sits on the Rich flag the whole time I'm at WOT. All the way up to 5500.
Also I think I have a fuel problem regardles because with my last engine I blew up a regulator. Gas was pouring into the intake through the vacum line. So I replaced the diaphram and with the AFPR all the way out not even touching the diaphram it was bouncing from 50psi to 55psi and back like 10 times a second on the gauge. So I just left the thing completely unscrewed and didnt mess with it. This might have been from to much tank pressure I thought and have since removed my EVAP. I'm going to test the fuel pressure ASAP then I'll let you know what I find. Can the stock pump from the original 305 that has over 100K on it feed this engine properly?

Ok, tested the fuel pressure. With the vacuum hose disconected it jumps from 50 to 55psi. If you hook the vacuum line back up at idle its at 38psi. I drove the car then floored it. It went up to 50 then down to 46psi around 4 grand when the car starts to fall off. So does this sound like a Fuel pump problem?

I have mine set at 46PSI with the vacuum line removed of course. All I can tell you is that we ran a test with a fuel pressure gage hooked up and taped to the windshield and mine stayed right at the 46 PSI up to 5600rpm.
