Attn: Accel supercoil owners, where did you mount it?
Originally I had the Accel coil mounted to the firewall behind the distributor, and it was really close to the dist. Now with the new motor mounts it's actually hitting the dist cap, so I clearly can't put it there. I'd like to use the coil wire that came with my MSDs, so that gives me about a 10" radius around the distributor in which to mount the coil. So where the heck am I supposed to put it? Has anyone made it work with the factory coil bracket? (I haven't seen mine in two years)

try mounting it on the left (passenger side) of the distributor cap, about where the ground wire from the engine is bolted into the fire wall. Its the wire with no sheeth, with a small wire w/ a sheeth. You'll probably have to relocate the ground, further down the fire wall. I saw this on my neighbors IROC. I don't know how the crap he did it, but he did, so it is possible.
