whats this connected to the cooling system ??

I believe its connected to the 2 heater core hoses that go through the firewall, and it has a third hose that goes directly to the throttle body, it's some sort of plastic black valve, i need to know what it's called so i know what to ask for, i broke it while doing some engine work.... Thanks guys !!

yeah, definetly the heater valve. i broke mine too at one point. you'll find one at napa. Becareful putin it back on. new one just as weak as original. try lubing the hose ends up on the inside a little bit and also where the hoses connect on the valve. that worked out good for me. don't use too much though.

ya, broke mine right after doing the TB bypass, they get pretty warm and don't handle stress very well.

you dont need it, just run the firewall to the intake, and cap the hose with the t-end, all the heater valve does it flow the coolent when heat is on, and blocks it when the heat is off, without the valve, it just runs the coolent all the time
