I've got the engine out of my car and the engine bay looks pretty sad. The car is a red/maroon metallic. The bay is painted the same color but, it really looks"thin" as if it needs more of the base color and has never had any clear coat applied. What color do I paint it? Black maybe? I would really like to paint the block Chevrolet Orange ( I think orange blocks with aluminum heads and intake look great), but I don't want the two colors to clash. Help me out here, I'd like your opinions!
