ok im just wrapping up my first build on a mildly built 305 bored .030 over. and i want to start building my 350 4 bolt main i got for $35 but any way im debating if i shoud just build it *** a 355 or 383. i do not want it to be an all out race motor but id like to get hp p in the 400s my lil ol 305 is in the 300s. i am going to be putting in new crank h beam rods not sure on pistons yet and mabey a roller cam and some spray but no more than 100 shot. i know it sounds a lil extream but i want to race it some but be able to drive it on the street. i do plan on t56 swap in the future. so any ideas would be appreciated i really wanna get this thing goin.

 

Theres no reason not to build a 383. The price will be about the same.

 

what about reliability? i know if im gona build w/ big power why worry but ive heard that 383s usualy dont last long becuse or the diff stroke and that its hard on it but i dunno i am concidering it i kinda want to put fuel injection on it too but i have no idea what so ideas there would help too
