I have an 86 IROC with the LG4 305 4BBL. On the highway I get right around 21 mpg (last I checked) and about 17 city. I believe the tank is 13 gallons.

Search the archives, I asked this same question. I believe they are 15.5 gallons if I remember correctly.

Yes I believe the factory does say 15.5 gallons; but how much difference there is from fill-up to run-out-of-gas seems to vary somewhat from one car to another. No doubt this is due to indvidual variation like the rake angle of the car and how low your pickup extends into the tank (i.e. how much gas is left that you can't use); I don't recall ever getting over 15 gallons into my car, about 14.7 or so is it.
