You need different engine mounts and a transmission adapter. You may want to check with the motor swap board for more specific info.

For the Camaro you'll probably need a different flywheel.

Pontiac never made a 327. They did however make a 326, which will not bolt up to a Chevy trans, exhaust, or anything else. It is the same external size (bulk!) as all other Pontiac V8s, so it doesn't have a very attractive CID-to-weight ratio.

They may have used a Chevy 327 in some of their cars at some time but I don't think so.

If it's a 327 it will bolt into either the Nova or Camaro, but you will have problems if you want to install accessories, if its heads don't have the bolt holes in the ends of them.

Is this a Pontiac motor or a Chevy motor? Do you know how to tell the difference?

it will fit into eather no problem, the 73' nova would be a bit easyer of a swap, all you have to do is get a trans adapter plate and the motor mounts and its ready to bolt in!
