does the factory tbi computer have a rev limter???

just wondering because my engine(now a 397) will spin past the redline on the tach and keep pulling. just checking to see if it will eventually stop me from pulling.

Some thirdgens come with speed limiters, but I've been able to rev my engine up to insane levels and nothing's stopped me except the fear I was about to see 8 cylindrical objects launched into space.

Although, I just read in another post that they do, but they're set to something like 10,000rpm's so they're basically useless.
