Shocks bad?

New Monroe Sensa-tracs...

rattling from rear, go to check shock mounts (mech installed shocks) and they were loose, when to tighten shocks and they wouldn't tighten, the bolts the nut turns on just starts to turn after I get it semi-hand-tights....

What gives, do I need new ones?

Hold the bolt still with a pair of Channellock type pliers while you tighten the nut.

The nut backing off seems to be fairly common on these cars, I check mine from time to time.

RB, you're a savior... thank you -so- much!!!

I was so worried my new shocks were bad, I didn't even think to hold the bolt!

Thank you again!
