If your car is stock by your sig it is, check your exhaust gas recirculation valve on top of your exhaust manifold the one with the 3/8 steel lines going to it, check the threads for a small crack , mine went and it sounded like a lawn mower, I couildn't find it at first but it developed and was found

Well youv'e allready pulled the valve cover and found nothing corrcect? You would have seen a broken spring or bent valve. I still believe you should check that recirc valve on the exhaust manifold or the header gasket. Have a helper get in the sar and gas it while you find where it's coming from.
