Porting Head. Have ?

How much material can I remove off the bump where the pushrod slot goes though on Cast 083 heads? Can I remove it all and smooth it around or should I not touch it? Thanks!

You can open it up quite a bit but you can't nor do you need to remove it completely. The port wall is approx 1/4" thick. +/-
Use common sense. The push rod pinch is not actually a restriction to intake port air flow until the rest of the port is done completely.
