sealing the Oil plug on the back of the block..

need help.. i originally wanted to put in a aftermarket oil pressure sending unit.. but chaning my mind.. i went to go put the stock plug back in.. and its just not sealing. Am i supposed to be using teflon tape? or some other type of sealant that will work better?

Telflon tape works fine. I use the liquid thread sealant with teflon that Permatex makes.
