I was wondering what should I do if my valves are tapping. I mean it can't be that bad, cause a my friend, who is a mechanic told me that I shouldn't really worry about it. But I want to so if you guys have any suggestions big or small.....shoot

 

If they are tapping, adjust them.

Are you sure its the valves??? Or could it be the rocker arms out of adjustment? Its not a big job. Your friend could probably fix the problem in 5 min.

if not valve train related it may be preignition, try changing timing or up the fuel octane
