Need suggestions
Hello everybody.
I have an L98 that I swapped the intake to an LT1 intake, I also have ported the heads decently. The bottom end is stock. Next im replacing the cam. I know just about absolutely nothing about what specs I should be looking for. I want a fairly aggressive cam, nothing too over the top, for street/strip.
What should I be looking for as far as Lobe Sep, Lift and Duration?

Do you have the rest of the car to go with it? Headers, converter, gears, subframes? If not, I would keep duration in the high teens, low twenties. 218/224 is a comp grind I believe. Stock heads wont take more than .480" lift without maching the guides. A hot cam is about as big as I would go for a driver with a tight converter and tall gears

It has 1 5/8 shorties into single 3", 2k stall converter and 3.23 gears. Dont have SFC's yet.
How about this cam:
