What is this called?
There is alot of anti freeze leaking.. I know what and where it is leaking from. I know I have to change the lower heating hose and heater valve because that hose connects to some fitting that screws into the intake manifold behind the right side (passanger side) of the TBI unit.. I need to know the correct term for that part because it is the part that is causing the leakage!! the fitting... anyone got any clues????
(THIS IS AN OLD PIC,MY ENGINE LOOKS A BIT DIFFERENT NOW MUCH MORE CLEANER THE TBI UNIT AND INTAKE MANIFOLD HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH BETTER STUFF)
I think there are different sizes for that fitting,I still have a stock intake manifold but aluminum, if anyone knows please inform me!
Thanks!!!

Just taking a gander but if your talking about the hose that runs from the heater control valve to the dohickey on the intake manifold, I would guess it could be the choke thermostat. It's part of the emisions system to heat the throttle body. On TPI units the hose runs from the heater control valve to the side of the throttle body. According to the Autozone web site there is no part number available. Kragens web site was having a blond moment and wouldn't let me check them out. If this is what your talking about it sounds like either a trip to the bone yard or the dealer.

I know what you're talking about, no clue what it's called, heater control valve nipple maybe??. I have one here from my old TBI setup if all else fails, is it cracked, or leaking at the threads?
