i dont know, it doesnt say anything about series on it, the b4 owner said it was a limited production intake with a performer series carb matched set, he said they were only available from 94-95 or somethin, he also said that it was like a $1300 dollar setup, but i dont think i believe the guy at all, hes an idiot, but he might be right

It's an SP2P. It was extremely popular back in the 70s and early 80s, and worked fairly well for its day although it is prety much outdated, like the cams it was meant to go with. The "SP2P" stands for "Single Plane Dual Plane" because they tried to get it to have some characteristics of each design. I think it was discontinued sometime around 84 or 85, at least that was the last time I can recall seeing one anywhere in a box.
The guy is running off at the mouth. It was priced like a typical aftermarket manifold of its day, seems like it was about $85 or so in 1980. It was not "limited production", did not come with any kind of a matched carb, and had nothing to do with the newer Performer product line.
What are you really asking?

The intake is/was designed for low to mid RPM range, it was touted for RV's and towing application.
Still a decent intake, but the Perform works as well down low, and will take the engine higher in the RPM band.
It also came in a 2bbl application as well.
Need another one?

hmm thnx for the info on that, the carb he said that was a *matched* carb is one of the newer edelbrock performer series carbs, and get this it has electric choke, i dont think i want to give it to the guy even if he gives me an intake and carb back cause hes a dumbsh*t
