car seems to have a backfire like sound out of the intake
how it going, i recently turned up the fuel pressure in my car from 12 psi to about 12psi and realized my hesitation and wooshing sound out of the intake have gotten worse. what happenes is when you give it gas, it makes a woosh sound out of the intake. and when in park if you tap the gas real quick it hesitates, can someone point me in the right direction to what the problem is. the engine has 560 miles on it, so i am starting to think i did not do the valve lash right, does this sound like the problem or is it something else

could be your valve lash, do you hear any ticking? i had a bad lifter in my motor and it would "pop" like out of the intake, check all your vacuum hoses also.
