new or used v6 block?

what do you guys think? im rebuilding a new v6 for my car, while the old one is in there, with 160K+ miles on it...its my daily driver, so i cant take it out and rebuild it, so i'm just gonna build a new one...and what do you guys think about a turbo on the new one? if you think i should get a new block, let me know a good place to buy from...

do you think that it would be safer to get a new one? this is gonna be my first engine build, so i wanna make sure everything is gonna be right...what sort of things should i specifically look for, besides the obvious...if i see a hole in a cylinder where a rod flew out of, i obviously wont be getting that block, but what other things should i look for?
