Can't get my codes

I grounded A&B on my ALDL and the service engine soon light won't flash. It just stays on.

Are you sure is all the way in there?

I know the clip contacted both terminals but I didnt really cram it in there...too spooked to try that.
Maybe the computer is a goner?
If so, where is a good place to get one?

You jumpered the contacts 'B' and 'A' in the ALDL?

And you turned the ignition ON without starting the engine?

Does the SES lamp even turn on? Ever?

Yes, did all that.

The ses light just stays on. Won't blink.
