Underhood Fuel Pressure Gauge

I want to do a fuel pressure gauge under my hood to make tuning easier. I have braided lines w/ AN fittings, so it wouldnt be hard to do. I would like to have a permanently mounted one.

My question is.....are they safe, or do they leak. I heard somebody say "Dont put one of those on there, itll eventually leak and start a fire!"

Any help is appreciated. I want the gauge, but dont want a car fire....that would be bad.

If it is only going to be used for tuning, I see no advantage to a permanently install gauge compared to a portable test gauge. There are several potential disadvantages, however.

Thanks. I know it would be not be as good for tuning as a good Snap On style gauge, I guess it would be more for a quick reference and quick troubleshooting.
