new O2 sensor,but....

the old one will not come out,a 7/8 crowsfoot helps get to it,but it just wont budge
followed the set minimum air since the O2 sensor won't budge with engine warmed up.and after 30 seconds or long with ALDL jumped across, turn off key and remove paper clip, disc the IAC,when restart the car it idles wildly, way fast over 3K,no adjustment to torx screw has any effect at all,WTF,shut the car off b4 she blows, reconnect IAC and back to a 1500 idle???just gonna drive the thing until it blows, this car is really annoying me,

If you wanted to have some fun heat up the bung cherry red and pour some Ln2 on the sensor, it should pop right out!

More practically, 3' cheater bar...

There's this stuff called "Deep Creep" that autozone sells, it's worked great for me in the past. Just spray the crap out of it for about 30 min, and you're good to go.

liquid wrench

soaking it with liquid wrench about every 30 minutes, then tapping on crowsfoot extension ,gonna keep this up ,then jack it up in the morning and get on it with boxed end from the bottom, still confused on the min air setting, went crazy on me today, someone says once jumpered ALDL and key turned on for the 30 seconds, not to turn key off to remove jumper, and while running hook IAC back up??
