What Was That?
I was setting the timing last night, which was easy enough until I had to wrestle w/ the distributor hold-down bolt. I was wondering what those 2 black wires/connectors coming off the EGR were, as I would have liked to have removed them to make working that bolt a little easier.
Usually if I don't know, I don't do.

They're plastic vacuum lines for the EGR solenoid. I broke mine once setting the timing b/c they're so brittle. So I ripped them out and ran new ones a little better
