where is the fuel pump relay

Engine: 406 on N20 w/ EFI
Transmission: P.B. 700R4
Axle/Gears: 12 bolt w/ 3.91
not sure about an '86 2.8 L, but the fuel pump relay is usualy located alone the firewall, drivers side, near the brake fuild master cylynder, in one of the small balck boxes screwed to a bracket.
is it fuel injected ( i suppose so) or carb??
one way to know for sure is to buy the 1986 SHOP MANUAl froma GM place or even on ebay, it's like 600 pages of info.. it'lllt ell you where your relay is located

Should be where he stated - there should be a strip of relays, the FPR will probably be one of the middle ones. That's the only place I've really ever seen the relays put from the factory on third gens.
