Car is running rough and major power loss

I dont know what happening to my car,it started doing it like a day ago and iam not driving it no more until i fix whatever this is...so it idles on 500rpm or so...whenever i take it to drive its like aint making power at all,i really have to step on gas for it to shift gears and speed up,what iam thinking is thats probably my clogged cat or something because i have exhaust leak right by cat and its very little air coming down from my exhaust pipes,so tomorow iam probably gonna try to remove it and see if i can gut that sob...
also my car did that for a while now...whenever i turn it my egnition off,my engine kept cranking....like couple of times it just bumps...could it be bad timing?
I really hoped to get new headers and exhaust for my car but after that happend i hope iam not gonna waste my money to fix that ****...
I really need some advice on what can be wrong with it,cuz its my daily driver and i have to fix it on sunday =( i have school and work...

Disconnect the cat and take it for a ride. See if it still does it.

Pull your plugs and make sure they are clean. I was having the same symptoms and I had 4 dirty plugs, cleaned them up and she ran like new. Just a simple suggestion.

Ok now you check the basics. You need fuel and spark. Check your fuel pressure and make sure you have the proper amount . Have you recently purchased a tank of gas OR let the tank run almost empty. It could be a bad gas issue or you may have sucked up a bunch of crud from the bottom of the tank if you ran it really low. Check for spark. Should have a good strong spark. Any check engine lights or codes?

Isn't the pickup in the bottom of the tank. Just a question because if it is wouldn't the crud already get sucked up.

If you sucked something up it shouldnt have passed your filter. I'd change it and go from there!
