Fuel Injectors
I know there are a few places to post a topic like this, but this seemed best to me. Mods, if you think there is a better place please move it, thanks.
Anyway, I have some basic fuel injector questions. I increased displacement, so I am puting in bigger injectors. I have some Audi 28 lb. injectors made by bosch (they look exactly like the accel injectors without the yellow) that I would like to use, but want to make sure they will work.
1) I measured the impedance with a VOM and my OEM injectors are about 12 ohms where the audi injectors ane about 14 - 15 ohms, will this make a difference?
2) The plastic hat on the pintle (think that is the right word) on 3 of them is cracked, will that make a difference?
3) are the ford racing injectors a direct fit if these will not work, and if so, when I order the ford injectors is it worth it to spend an extra $130 on a matched set?
Thanks in advance
