Need Shorter Serp Belt & few other Q's
I want to eliminate the A/C compressor & Smog pump from my 88 TPI motor. Where i live, in upstate ny, it is cool enough for me to run without a/c.. So eliminating that is a definite. I already have the a/c delete heater box cover from american graffiti.. I also want to remove the smog equip b/c I am installing the motor into an older car and it will be emissions exempt.
Can anyone provide me with the proper belt size to remove these 2 items?? Will I need to relocate the tensioner to do this?? Is there a kit, etcc...??
Also, by removing the Smog stuff, will it affect the stock computer and the way the car runs??
Also, if I upgrade to a 24lb or 30 lb injector, will I need to do anything to the computer??
The reason for the injector upgrade, is the TPI will be going onto a 406 ci motor.
thanks in advance

First, get a different intake for the 406. You'll choke it.
Second, ditch the stock accessory brackets. Save up and get something like the march kit. Trying to modify the stock tensioner to work will look ugly and hacked IMO.
