Head Assembly

heads came back from the machine shop, jet cleaned, magged , etc, new stock valves, stock L98 iron heads.
Going with a slightly bigger cam 452/465
New crane springs, locks and retainers to match the cam.
Question is" do i need to use the exhaust rotator/retainers,or can i just use the crane ones i purchased, that are non rotators?

You don't need to use the stock stuff. Use the new retainers. Shim up the springs.
