rotor removal.

so i'm in the process of changing my cap and rotor. i got to the rotor, and i cant pull it off. in the book it says there's two bolts holding it down, but i don't see them. the msd one i have, looks like it would just pull off. do i just need to put more force on the old ****, or is there more to it?

It pulls right off. They can be hard to get off if they have been there awhile.

Which dizzy do you have? External coil or coil in cap? If you have external coil dizzy, you just pull up like hell on the rotor and it will pull off the shaft. Coil in cap dizzy the rotor is mounted with 2 screws clearly visible.

My car has the external coil dizzy and I usually just get the Accel cap and rotor package at the local Kragens. Works fine, never a problem.
