Thats about it. So get friendly with your local automotive machinist and see what he'll charge ya to do the work.
well my brother just found a set of completely done world sportsman 2 heads for only 400 dollars-and considering the work i need done to the head is gonna cost me 150-250 dollars im just going to sell the vortec heads and buy the sportsman heads-this should be better heads anyways plus they dont need any work done and i get to keep my intake and valve covers

If you go to www.alangrovecomponents.com they have all different types of custom bracket items that will work, I did a similar set-up on my motor and EASILY found what I needed to mount my power steering and alternator for under $100.00. And they work great. Some people just don't want to mess with things like this. Easy to do and these heads are awesome.

the motor is a 73 chevy 400-292/501 cam , stock pistons -vitor jr intake -holley 750 carb -accel 8.8mm wires-hei super coil- turbo 350 trans and the stock 3.42 open rear end.--the best time this car has ever ran was a 12.87 but that was in good weather -on average it runs about 13.00--my main goal of this car is to still be streetable and possibly crack 11's but would settle with low 12's--i also i plan on gettign an electric water pump and a bigger cam---pretty much the only thing on the motor stock is the heads and pistons-so thats why im looking into good heads and ive heard good thigns about 64 cc 2.02's (the camel humps were taklign about) adn bad things about the ones i have on here now (76 cc truck heads -1.94) adn ive had multiple people tell me 400's love 2.02's and that it would pick me up a bunch--but either way id just like to get a set of heads that would pick me up at least 4 tenths-adn if these heads would do that its all im worried about-i would much rather go out and buy a set of new ones but i aint got much money =the accesory hole thing is a problem but ive read elsewhere that i can drill the new holes--and yes i can get the work done cheaper because most of family races adn they knjow how to do most of the work------but on top all of this lol ive read that gm made two different size 3890462's they came in 1.94 and 2.02's with the same #--so maybe all this time ive been arguing abotu em for nothign lol

I have a set of camel humps on my Malibu. Ive never had $1500 plus to buy a nice set of heads. I stumbled across these camel hump and i have no problem saying they are Great. I didnt drill holes for accesories. I made my own brackets excluding the upper alt bracket. I run these on a 383 stroker. Ive never had this car to the track. Its my summer time play toy. STREET CAR PEOPLE...lol. Everyone tells me that tunnel ram engines arent streetable.
Like you i didnt have alot of money. i drilled and pinned the heads and put triple springs on. I run a 305adv. duration magnum cam in this engine with a 3500 stall in front of a 350 turbo. I run 20in wide rear tires and this engine turns them like nothing. From a dead stop this car will bawl the tires until about 90 mph. ;}
If you can use the heads you wont regret it.
