going back to normal motor oil

Axle/Gears: 3.73
going back to normal motor oil

i have be using sythetic motor oil for about 4 years now and my car is burning motor oil alittle. i cant keep filling it up with more sythetic oil. well it do harm if i fill it up with normal motor oil after i change the sythetic out of it

Other than starting to wear more than it was before, cranking harder in cold temps, using more fuel - no, won't hurt.

What is causing the oil consumption?

Replace the valve seals. Cheaper in the long run than using petroleum-based oil.
