Fuel pressure

My fuel pressure jumps from 0-6psi when its runing (with the engine, if that makes any sense). Im slowly starting to experience harder starting and it idles not as well as it used to. Its off the old 305 and I put it on my 355 when I did the swap. Its a stock mechanical fuel pump. Do I need a new one?

Ya, that's where I would start, shuold be a pulsing 4-6 PSI reading on a mechanical pump.

Also, take a sniff if your oil, see if it smeels like gas...if so, change it along with the FP.

New pump is on and it seems to run so much better.
