Well the way that I look at it, they may all be junk but I still love mine to death. If they were not junk then why work on them?

Then what the hell is my problem, I love my car because its junk and nobody else will care about it so I do. If you had a 90 RS with 200000 miles on it you would call it junk asap.

Facts of life:
Women lie
Work sucks
Headers are a PITA
Thats just how life is. They are not junk, nor is your car. You simply lack the experience and knowledge to properly install them with out problems.
Work through it, dont post garbage like this.

Go read some books. Learn a little. Then work on your car.

Ok here is where we get serious, the 350 does not have any more aftermarket than the 302 does. Hell fuel injection wise, you can do more to the 302 without the computer trying to rape your engine than with a tpi.

Junk is in the eye of the beholder. I looked into a set of headers for my car a couple years back, way too crowded under the hood for this job, forget it. Then antifreeze started leaking from the back of the cylinder head. Then ATF started leaking from the front pump. So at this point the headers started looking more feasible.

Well the motor mounts on his car sink the motor from the engine bay down to china. Then the brake lines might as well be wrapped about his headers even with the indent for the SLP headers. We had to take the valve covers off to get them on and then the holes were slightly off. I am sure its gonna leak.

Multi port is multi port my friends and the SBC by far has the most options available to it. You guys need to step away from your opinions and open a few IC engine books as well as spending some time at the track. The computer is not responsible for any limitations TPI may have. The same basic closed loop principals apply to all multi port engines. Even the 302's can't escape this. The mechanical aspects of the motor determine its powerband and intended usage. However, I am sure you already knew this given you just got your license.

Its almost as if the headers were made with slight error, it felt like you had to crossthread at least one of the bolts to get the headers on there, sorta wierd.

I have seen mustangs out there that have h/c/i and can still have some power on the stock tune. Plus the intake does not choke them out at 4500rpms like the tpi. I know that just like our tbi's if you do h/c/i you will have a sloppy and no power engine. You guys cant even pretend that the 302 does not have at least just as much of an aftermarket as any sbc.

Sagging motor mounts are normal for a car that is 16 years old. The headers you put on weren't designed to fit on a car with worn out parts. Fix the motor mounts and 99% of your clearance issues will go away. Likewise, brake lines are flexible and you can easily push them out the way of the header primaries.

The whole point of the argument is you trying to prove that the sbc has more aftermarket out there. I was just trying to say that the 302 is at least equal to the 350...not behind.
