Starter Problem (from CZ28.com)
hey guys, i started this over at CZ8.com when TGO was down, and I wanted to get some publicity over here on it, and continue it because its still not fixed...
basically to sum all the pages up, i'm getting juice to the solenoid when i turn the key, and juice to main power suply on the starter, but the starter still doesn't work. The one I pulled out (stock one), was tested after I pulled it out and it worked, but I still got a new one, a high torque mini starter, its in full working order, but still doesnt' work in the car. We replaced the main power wire that goes from the starter to the battery, and the ground wire that goes from the battery to the block. Hooked everything up after that, and used a jumper cable for a ground (due to the fact it was just dangling), and it worked. Proceeded to bolting in the starter, and doesn't work now. We even put the jumper cable back on there for a ground, and still didn't work. So we pretty much elimintated anythign under the hood, so now we're to the nuetral saftey switch in the center console. There are 5 wires incorperated in there, and my dad found the one wire that gets juice when you turn the key, and he needs to know which wire to jump it to so he can bipass this switch and see if this is the problem. If anybody else has a suggestion on a potential problem, post it up....this is boggling my mind...
