oil pump priming tool direction of rotation?

Transmission: 700 R4 automatic overdrive
oil pump priming tool direction of rotation?
Ok, getting down to the end of the engine swap and almost ready to fire this puppy over.
I am going to use an oil pump priming tool to engage the oil pump and spin it to prime the system.
My question is... when looking down at the top of a small block Chevy engine, do I spin the tool and pump clockwise or counter-clockwise? I think it's clockwise, but my old brain is fried. Thanks for the refresher!
