water leaking from bellhousing

i just got my rebuilt 350 installed and when i got it fired up water started coming out of the bellhousing at the dust cover.t-5 by the way.what are all the possibilities?i narrowed it down to cracked block or improperly installed freeze plug.but the block shouldnt be cracked, the guy at the machine shop checked for cracks.anything that i am overlooking?

if it was checked for cracks (and there wasnt any) its got to be a freeze plug or it could be comming from the intake and running down to where you see it....tao

A lot of water? I would guess a freeze plug. Not to bad to change, it could be worse. Better then headgaskets, but worse than intake gaskets.
