Computer Problem
I have a 1991 RS originally had a 305 TBI in it. I dropped a 350 TBI in it and having some problems that I cant figure out how to fix( Fan won't kick on w/o AC being on, Won't start when up to operating temp, slow throttle response) could any of that be due to the 305 computer in it. I went to the local automotive store and was told that the computer in my car is made only for a 305 and the 350 computer is different. Will that help with any of my problems?

Did you change injectors and the knock sensor? Slow throttle might be caused by insufficient fuel. I am just thinking though. If you did do everything else then it is the computer. Just get a chip or prom made for you engine and it will run much better.

Well if the computer still thinks its a 305 its trying to run thats definately a problem...
Either get a PROM for a 350 or better/easier just go to the JY and get the whole ECM.
