Car: 97 b4c camaro

Engine: 350 lt1

Axle/Gears: 3.23

Starting problems

This isnt regarding a third gen. but someone should be able to answer it. The car will start once in a while in park and other times will not even turn over or make a noise. When you stick it in neutral it will ALWAYS start. What could the problem be?

Engine: 350 TPI

Transmission: 700r4

Axle/Gears: 2.73:1

It is most likely the neutral safety switch, or could be in the shift linkage out of adjustment or something.
